POSITION:
Secretary and Legal Personnel

Interviews Holds Gtext Hub, 3rd Floor 51/52 Ijaye Bustop, Ogba Bus Stop, Lagos. Monday 11th June 2018 by 12noon

Location – Candidate must be resident within Ikeja environs Lagos

WORK SCHEDULE
Day: Monday to Saturday.
Time: 8:00am -6pm

Job Description:
The role of the company Secretary is to provide company secretarial and administrative support to Gtext Global Group of Company Subsidiaries.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Facilitate the smooth running of subsidiary companies board and board committee activities, where applicable, by helping the CEO to set agendas, preparing papers and distributing these papers to the boards and its committees;
2. Attending such meetings and preparing and taking minutes hereof for timely distribution;
3. Ensuring compliance with all statutory filings (e.g Tax forms, Annual Returns) and any other filings to be made with Companies House;
4. Ensuring compliance with the requirements of the Nigeria, Uk ans US Companies Act, Listing, Disclosure; Transparency Rules and other requirements relevant to Investec and its subsidiary companies;
5. Maintenance of Investor and subsidiary companies terms of reference and policies as appropriate,
6. General administrative support to the department when required.

Core Skills and Attributes
7. Drafting of legal documents
8. Dealing with correspondence, collating information and writing reports
9. Transcribe and proof read legal documents, file, organize, scan, copy and fax legal documents.

Required Skills
1. Strong sense of discretion
2. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
3. Proficiency with MS Word

Professional Qualifications
Candidate should have not less than a 2.2 in university and law school.
