2018 WAEC GCE FORM IS OUT- WHERE TO GET IT AND HOW TO REGISTER






It is massive number of students desire to get admitted to further their education in the tertiary institution yet only few make the cut after failing to pass one of the core subjects required for their desired course of study.

This is the major reason why WAEC organized another form of exam as GCE for private candidates which is held in August/September to give them a lifeline of acquiring the needed subject(s) in order to secure admission into institution.

This I must confess has been very effective as most schools accept two sittings of result to process admission.

Hence, WAEC has announced the commencement of WAEC GCE registration from May 14th to July 6th.  Therefore, interested candidates are to purchase the form at eligible branches at the fixed price of 13,950 naira which consist of Scratch card/ PIN and VCD to be watched by every participant. The registration card also contains the result checker. Keep the card after use for registration.

STEPS ON HOW TO REGISTER FOR 2018 WEAC GCE AUGUST/SEPTEMBER EDITION (SECOND SERIES)



LOGIN
Candidates are to start their Registration by first logging in using their scratch card bought at any accredited WAEC branches or agent. Click here to register Candidates must ensure that they enrol their fingerprints and capturing other personal details using the Biometric Data Capture software. Click here to download if you have a fingerprint scanner or visit any Registration Centre with such facilities to scan your fingerprints. NOTE: Ensure your Surname, First name and other names are captured using the software.


BIO DATA

Candidates are required to enter their bio data which includes Maiden Name (if applicable), Date of Birth, Nationality, State of Origin, Gender, Disability, Marital Status.  NOTE: Your name must not be more than 40 characters which includes spaces between your surname, first name and other name. Please select NONE for disability information if you are not disabled.


PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH

Candidates are to upload a scanned passport size photograph with a white background. The passport photograph must be a recent one and must be in  (.jpg) format. The photograph uploaded will be printed on your photo card and certificate. The dimension of the passport photograph must be exactly 275 X 314 pixels. The photograph must not be more than 15 kilobytes and not less than 7 kilobytes in size
NOTE: You can use photo paint to resize your passport photograph


CONTACT INFORMATION

Candidates are required to supply their contact information which includes telephone, email, residential address, residential city, residential state, postal address, city and state. 
NOTE: Telephone number is compulsory to contact the candidate incase the need arise.


SELECTION OF PREFERRED EXAMINATION TOWN

Candidates should select the state and town of their choice to write the examination. Centre will be automatically assigned to candidates by the system. NOTE: You cannot change your examination  town after submission. Click here to check town of centres


SUBJECTS SELECTION

English Language and Mathematics will be automatically selected for candidates because they are compulsory. Candidates are to select the other 7 subjects to register for in this examination. Click here to check subjects


DECLARATION

Candidates are required to read the declaration section carefully and check or tick the check boxes before submitting their form. You cannot proceed unless this process has been completed.


SUBMITTING REGISTRATION

Candidates are to click on the ACCEPT button after completing registration. A preview of candidate's details will be displayed for review. Candidates should click the EDIT button if  any modification is to be made. Candidates must click the SAVE button to save application and still be able to come back and modify it. 
NOTE: modifications to application can only be done 3 times. Candidates are to click the SUBMIT button  to submit the application. Modification of application cannot be done once the SUBMIT button clicked.


PRINTING OF ADMISSION NOTICE/PHOTO CARD

After the successful completion and submission of registration form by candidate, the system will automatically allocate a centre to the candidate and  examination number will be generated. Candidates should proceed to print  the admission notice/photo card. 
NOTE: Candidates will only be allowed into the examination hall with this document.
